House Manager - Location: Town of Islip
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
The House Manager is responsible for the day to day functioning of the shelter household. This staff member tends to the needs of the facility as well as residents by providing transportation to appointments, facilitating house meetings, grocery shopping, coordinating donations, weekly meal planning and tending to minor shelter repairs and upkeep
Minimum qualifications: A commitment to working with people whose lives have been affected by domestic violence. High School diploma or equivalent, group home/shelter experience. Strong organizational skills required. Ability to complete minor household repairs. Bilingual individuals encouraged to apply.

Full Time Housing Support Assistant - Location: Town of Islip
Hours: Monday – Friday 4:30pm-12:30am
Start Date: Immediately

The full time Housing Support Assistant will work out of the Safe Harbor Shelter answering the 24 hour hotline, conducting intake screenings for potential residents, tending to the needs of current residents and overseeing the activities of the Shelter. Extensive training provided.

2) shift Sunday 12:30pm to 12:30am
